Serenity in Bloom

"Serenity in Bloom" was created using digital oil painting techniques to capture the rich texture and depth of traditional oil paints. I used an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil to apply layered brushstrokes, carefully blending colors to create a soft, atmospheric background that highlights the still life subject. By adjusting brush settings such as opacity, pressure, and flow, I achieved the depiction I wanted, capturing the subtle interplay of light and shadow. My goal was to create a tranquil composition that evokes the timeless beauty of classic still life paintings, and of course something I’d be doing at the beach — hanging out with a few books and a nice flower vase.
